Awards: Queens will receive a gorgeous Custom Crown & Monogrammed Banner Side Awards: Best Fashion, Prettiest Hair, Most Beautiful, Prettiest Eyes, Best Smile, & Photogenic
Photogenic Competition: Each division will have a photogenic winner. Photos can be black & white or color. No LARGER than 8x10. No picture frames. Photos MUST be labeled on the back with name, age, and division. Please bring Photo on the day of the pageant. Do NOT mail.
General Information & Guidelines Online Registration & Entry Fees must be sent through beauchamber.org. Paper Registration forms can be turned in to the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce. All Outfits Should Be Age Appropriate. Ages 0-7 years: No fake hair! No fake teeth! No fake lashes! Hair & Make-up should be age appropriate and natural.
Attire can include stoning and sequins. No Bellies Please!
Admission: $5 for EACH person ages 5 & up (4 & under free) Everyone pays but the contestant. NO exceptions. Please advise your guests.
Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave with no refund of fees.
Judges will be qualified and not from this area. Judges' decisions are final. No Refunds.
Only one person is backstage with the contestant. Contestants who are in conflict with this rule may be disqualified at the director’s discretion. It is important to keep the backstage area orderly for the competition to run smoothly. We appreciate your cooperation with this rule.
Score sheets will be returned to the contestants Parent or Guardian ONLY! Score sheets will be available for pick up following crowning. Score Sheets are $2 at the time of pick up.
****NOTICE**** All Queens are required to attend the Miracle on Washington Festival on Saturday, December 7, 2019 and the Christmas Parade on the night of December 7. We ask that the girls wear their crown & sash to these events. While holding this title, you will be expected to carry yourself respectfully. Not only will you be representing the Miracle on Washington festival, but you will also be representing the City of DeRidder & the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce.
Events: December 7: Attend day events to start at 9:00 am. Ride in the Night Parade (Must provide their own vehicle). Additional detail events will be announced.
Attention all MISS Contestants!!
To be eligible to compete in the Miracle On Washington Festival Pageant contestant must be: DEADLINE November 25, 2019
Be a resident of Beauregard parish school or a Rosepine Resident.
Must have never been pregnant, not pregnant at the time of this pageant, nor have terminated a pregnancy.
Must have never been married.
Must be 18 years of age by December 31, 2019
Must have never been arrested or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, or be it any other type of legal infraction.
Must not hold any other title that would require Queen her to attend LAFF.
INTERVIEWS: Interviews will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 beginning at 1:30 p.m. and continuing until around 2:15 p.m. Interviews will be held at the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce.
Interviews will be one on one panel interviews.
Each contestant will spend approximately 5 min with ALL 3 judges.
Questions will come straight from contestant’s bio.
Contestant should wear a red top. It can be button down, sweater, tunic, etc.
The bottoms MUST BE DENIM (blue jean) MATERIAL without holes: pants or skirts (no miniskirts).
Shoes complete your look! Shoe should complement outfit.
Hair and makeup should also complement your overall look.
Come to the interview ready to go in. We will not have time to wait for you to get ready.
On-Stage Introduction: Include Contestants name, contestant number & name of town represented. (Under 8 seconds).
